Public Employees and CBA/MOU
Normally in the context of certain public employees (City employees, CSD employees, etc.) there can be a post Skelly Hearing evidentiary hearing in which the entity and the employee select a Hearing Officer who typically has the authority to affirm, modify or reverse the decision with respect to the adverse action after conducting an evidentiary hearing. Likewise when a CBA or MOU contemplates an evidentiary hearing as a means of grievance or appeal. Mr. Warren is available to serve as an agreed hearing officer in connection with such matters.
